Scholarship Description: With reference to the project manager, the work of the Ph.D. fellow will consist mainly of duties in connection with research and development within the post-receptor effects of minor milk proteins, including milk growth factors and how milk processing affects bioactivity.
The appointee should have qualifications within the following areas:
-Dairy chemistry and technology
-Protein chemistry and analysis, including western immunoblotting and mass spectrometry
-Bioactivity of milk proteins
-Digestibility of milk proteins
-Chromatographical techniques: FPLC and HPLC
-Dairy pilot-plant techniques
The appointee should have qualifications within the following areas:
-Dairy chemistry and technology
